This big extended family came for photos with me recently and they were so much fun and easy to photograph! Shot on the beautiful Moturiki Island in Mount Maunganui, one of my favourite photo spots.

Mums and Daughter farewell photoshoot

Gloria and her beautiful girls are leaving NZ and as a final farewell they decided to do a photoshoot with their closest kiwi friends on their favourite beach. So great to get all these Mothers and their daughters together for some special photos.

Marie & Josh's Wedding, Te Puna Quarry, Tauranga

Well we woke up to the most amazing day for Marie and Joshua’s wedding! This was one of the most relaxed, well organised weddings I have been to and the day flowed very smoothly. The stunning Bride and Groom and their two gorgeous daughters looked to have the best day.

The Herb Garden at the Te Puna Quarry was a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony and family photos…. in, around, under and between the trees and flowering plants. The Brooklyn on The Strand, was the perfect spot to celebrate the rest of the night away!

I got to photograph this great family on the rocks on Moturiki Island… luckily they were keen to explore the rocks so we were able to get these shots in the lovely late afternoon Mount Maunganui light….

Helen + Quake, the handsome dog

Quake the handsome dog, needed a photoshoot …. Of course I was up for the challenge of chasing a Boxer Dog around the beach for photos! This handsome dog has been with Helen for over 8 years now and his love and loyalty to his owner showed through (despite the excitement of all the new smells on the beach!) X

I photographed this lovely family in the dunes over Summer. I had no trouble getting smiles from them! It was great to capture some photos here in Mount Maunganui before they moved away. Hopefully these photos will remind them of the fun time they had living here in the Bay of Plenty.

Happy 40th Family Photos

Happy 40th Wayne! A great way to capture a milestone birthday is with a family shoot voucher!! And….when you have teenagers at home, its always good to photograph you all together before they start to flee the nest! I got to meet this lovely family over three years ago when they welcomed sweet Chloe! … and recently they visited me with their two new additions - twins Isla and Zach. I love photographing twins! What a gorgeous family!

The Bainbridge Family

Three years ago, I photographed this lovely couples wedding and this weekend… I was lucky enough to meet their pretty 8 week old daughter Olivia and photograph them together on Main Beach in the Mount. Although a busy afternoon on the beach, we had this spot to ourselves and great mid afternoon sunshine.
